Selected applicants for 2023 awards, enjoyed a scholarship valued at $37,207 per annum. The scholarship assists with tuition fees and living costs.
Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must
- be a commencing or enrolled international student
- have an outstanding record of academic achievement and research potential
- have an unconditional offer of admission or be currently enrolled in a master’s by research or PhD at the University of Sydney
Application Instructions
To be eligible for research scholarships, beginning students must tick the box during the postgraduate research degree admission application process. You do not need to submit a second application. These deadlines can be found at this website, and applications are accepted year-round. The deadline is September 13, 2024, for research periods 1 and 2, and December 17, 2024, for research periods 3 and 4.
