About the Scholarship
The Fully Funded GIST Scholarship in South Korea is open to all nationals for Masters, Master Leading to Ph.D., and Doctoral Degree programs. GIST is a popular university situated in Gwangju, South Korea. It was Ranked #1 in Korea for startup performance and entrepreneurship in 2023 and comes in the top 100 universities in the world. The fall intake will start in September 2024.
All international students are granted the GIST Scholarship without any separate application. The Scholarship includes tuition Fees, meals, accommodation, monthly stipend, health insurance, and Flight tickets. GIST University does not charge any application fee. English is the primary language of instruction.

- A bachelor’s degree that is comparable to a bachelor’s degree in Korea must be held by the candidate.

Required Documents for Fully Funded GIST Scholarship in South Korea
- Official degrees and transcripts are required or notarized copies are acceptable.
- Two letters of recommendation must have the signatures and stamps of the recommenders.
- The recommenders do not have to send the letters independently or separately.
- Official English language test report.
- A copy of the applicant’s passport is required.

Step 1: Submit the online application by uploading the required documents.
Step 2: The International Admissions Coordinator will contact you when the application and all the required documents are confirmed. (Check My Status in the online application)
