2023/2024 Nigeria Police Force [NPF] Recruitment Application Portal Now Opens

This is to bring to the notice of the general public that application into various positions in the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) is open. The recruitment has commenced since October 15, 2023 and will end on November 26, 2023.

It doesn’t cost anything to apply. Moreover, candidates should be aware that submitting forged or fraudulent documents is completely forbidden and may result in their instant rejection or arrest by Nigerian law enforcement. Make sure you submit your application before the deadline since those who reached the shortlist will also be subject to a screening process.

Established in 1930, the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) is the primary law enforcement organisation in Nigeria, possessing exclusive jurisdiction across the whole nation. Protecting people and property in Nigeria is the primary duty of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), which is overseen by the Ministry of Interior, the Nigerian Police Council, and the Police Service Commission.

All applicants are welcome to apply, however not all will be selected for further consideration. To increase their chances of being shortlisted, all candidates must meet certain essential conditions; however, it’s important to remember that meeting these requirements does not ensure that you will be shortlisted.

Application Requirements

The following are some of the essential qualifications candidates must meet in order to be accepted for the upcoming hiring process:

    • Nationality: Candidates must be Nigerian citizens and possess a legitimate form of identity, such as a driver’s licence, voter card, or international passport.
    • Age Requirement: Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 28, which means that those who are older than 28 or younger than 18 cannot apply.
    • Height: 1.67 metres is the minimum height required for male applicants; 1.64 metres is the minimum height required for female applicants.
    • Chest Size: Only male applicants are eligible for this. A minimum chest measurement of 0.86 metres should be met by all male candidates.
    • Educational Requirements: Candidates must have at least five (5) credits in relevant disciplines, such as English and Mathematics, from their Olevel (WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) results.[Olevel results obtained prior to 2014 will not be accepted]
    • A Guarantors form with verifiable references must be completed by applicants.
    • Physical Requirements: The following applicants are not eligible to apply: Speech impairments include knock knees, bow legs, bent knees, flat feet, hands deformed beyond normal range of motion, tattoos, body scars, squinted or defective eyesight, amputation of any limb, severe dental malformations, and protruding navels.
    • Women who are pregnant are not allowed to apply.
