About the Scholarship

International postgraduate students who wish to pursue their degree at Zhengzhou University, particularly the doctorate degree, are eligible to apply for the Fully Funded Zhengzhou University PHD Scholarship in China. The scholarship is awarded for a period of four years.
Zhengzhou, Henan, People’s Republic of China is home to Zhengzhou University, also referred to as Zhèngdà in colloquial Chinese.

2. Accommodation – CNY 1000/month
3. Stipend – CNY 3,500/month

Scholarship Eligibility

1. 1. Candidates must be in excellent health and of a non-Chinese nationality.
   2. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be an international student studying outside of China or a graduate of a Chinese university.
   3. Comply with ZZU rules in addition to those of the People’s Republic of China;
   4. Superb academic achievement.
   5. Candidates should be proficient in doing scientific research.
   6. Candidates for the PhD programme must be under 40 years old, have an outstanding academic record in a master’s programme (for Pakistani applicants, this means 18 years of master’s degree), higher degree, or equivalent degree.

1. 1. Chinese medium courses: report of HSK4 or above (score: 210 or above, valid for two years), English level certificate.
   2. English medium courses: IELTS (5.5 or above) or TOEFL (80 or above) report (valid for two years) Or English proficiency certificate provided by previous academic institutions.
