Manchester Met Sport Scholarship For Athletes 

This scholarship package offers you a variety of services, support, and financial aid that enables you to balance your academic and athletic obligations. It is more than just a bursary.

The Manchester Metropolitan is confident in their program’s capacity to improve athletes who are pursuing dual careers because it is a part of a world-class athletic metropolis.The program recognizes and caters to the unique needs of each athlete.

Undergraduate and graduate students are thus encouraged to submit applications for Manchester Metropolitan University’s international student sport scholarships available for the 2023–2024 academic year. The university’s sport scholarship committee will decide on the award, and each application is evaluated on its own merits.

Scholarship Value

The total package is worth up to £7,000 per year. Additional University support is available for exceptional applicants.

Eligibility 

Athletes who want to be Manchester Met sport scholars must fulfill the following requirements:

• Be currently enrolled at Manchester Met in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, or be in the application process to enroll at Manchester Met for the upcoming academic year.
• You must be competing at a regional, national, or international level in the sport of your choice or demonstrate a promising sporting future.
• Participate in a sport that has been authorised by Sport England, giving preference to athletes whose sport is a part of the British Universities & Colleges Sport BUCS program.
• The Scholarship is open for students from any country
• Candidates must be able to compete for Manchester Metropolitan University in their respective sports.
• Be able to provide reliable references.
• Meet the academic requirements of their course.

Required Documents 

• Applications from candidates must be accompanied by a resume, academic credentials, and transcripts.
• Applicants are expected to demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English Language proficiency.
