This is to inform candidates who have applied or willing to change their school of choice to the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun (FUHSI), Osun State, Nigeria, that registration for post-UTME screening exercise for the 2024/2025 admission will commence on Monday 12th August and end on Monday 31st August, 2024.

About the school

The Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Osun State is one of the new Universities established in 2021 by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The Federal University of Health Sciences is a specialized one with focus on Health, Nutrition and Medical Sciences and it is expected to lay a foundation for building National preparedness and resilience in anticipation of future challenges in the health sector while also reducing medical tourism abroad.

 Eligibility

  • Candidates must have possessed 5 O’ level credits in appropriate subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
  • Candidate must have made FUHSI their institution of first choice and have a minimum UTME score required for his/her course of choice.
  • Candidates who did not make FUHSI their first choice institution and wish to seek admission into the university can change their institution of choice to FUHSI on the JAMB portal accordingly.

Special considerations

  • Candidates who wish to study MBBS, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science and Doctor of Physiotherapy must have obtained five credit passes in relevant O’ level subjects in not more than ONE sitting.
  • For Direct Entry candidates (DE), applicants must have obtained in relevant subjects, a minimum of 13 points for Medicine and Surgery, and 12 points for Nursing Science. Second Class Upper division degree from recognized university in relevant course is also acceptable for MBBS and Nursing Science.
