Eth Zurich Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme
The Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) offers financial aid, mentoring, and access to the ETH Foundation’s network to students. During the Master’s degree program, the foundation pays for all tuition, fees, and living expenses.
The number of annual scholarships depends on the availability of funds and its available for both national and international students.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have very good result in Bachelor’s degree programme (top 10% of Bachelor’s degree programme = grade A).
The selection process may involve a phone/VC interview, so please make sure you can be reached at the number listed in your CV.
Excellent students from the ETH and from other universities (national and international) who intend to pursue their Master’s degree at the ETH Zurich are eligible for the scholarship programs.
Scholarship Value
The Excellence Scholarship/ESOP comprises of a tuition fee waiver as well as a scholarship that covers living and educational costs (CHF 12,000 per semester)
The scholarship is given for the regular length of the Master’s program (three or four semesters). The waiver of tuition fees falls under this as well

How To Apply
You must apply for a Master’s degree program at ETH Zurich in order to be considered for the scholarship.
You must also attach a pre-proposal for your master’s thesis together with the required master’s admissions documentation.
Prior to December 15, 2022, the scholarship application form and supporting documentation must be submitted online.
