About the Scholarship

Muslim communities globally and nations with a majority of Muslims benefit from the IsDB. Students can therefore apply for the Bachelor, Master, PhD, and Post Doc scholarships from IsDB member nations as well as Muslim communities in non-member countries. Tuition, housing, round-trip flights, a monthly stipend, books/clothing allowance, and medical expenses are all covered by the scholarship.

The IsDB Merit Scholarship Program for High Technology (MSP), the IsDB Master of Science Scholarship Program (M.Sc. ), the IsDB Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC), and the IsDB-ISFD Scholarship Program are just a few of the scholarships that the IsDB awards. Scholarship Eligibility

The following list outlines the requirements for the ISDB Scholarship:

1. IsDB Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC)

Young Muslim students from Muslim communities living in non-member nations are eligible to apply for this scholarship to study for an undergraduate degree in subjects such as engineering, computer science, information technology, medicine, or agriculture.

List of eligible countries with Muslim Communities:

Australia, Canada, Croatia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, The Philippines, Trinidad-Tobago, Vietnam, Zambia, Liberia, Cambodia, Mauritius, Macedonia.

2. IsDB Master of Science Scholarship Program (M.Sc.)

This scholarship is for students from 20 IsDB LDMC countries in the field of Science and Technology. The successful candidate must secure admission in one of the IsDB member countries listed in the top 1000 in the Times Higher Education.

3. IsDB Merit Scholarship Program for High Technology (MSP)

This program focusses on advanced study and/or research in 16 applied science and high technology fields. It offers a 3-year Ph.D. and a 6- to 12-month post-Doctorate. It provides scholarships for advanced study at globally recognised high-tech universities and other establishments.

4. IsDB-ISFD Scholarship Program

The IsDB-ISFD scholarship program targets students from 21 Least Developed IsDB Member Countries (LDMCs). It provides funding for bachelor’s degrees or technical diplomas in medicine, engineering, agriculture, and other related fields.
